That piece you love? We can make it look like new.

Maybe it's that dining table you've had since the first apartment. The dresser your grandmother passed down. The bookshelf you found at an estate sale and never quite knew what to do with. Furniture has a way of becoming part of the family, and when it starts looking tired, replacing it doesn't feel right.

Refinishing it does. A piece you already love, with a fresh, durable, professional finish that puts it back into rotation for another decade or two.

The catch with most furniture painting is that doing it well is genuinely hard. A brush job in your garage on a humid Saturday is going to look like a brush job in your garage on a humid Saturday. The finish that actually looks like new requires a real spray booth, real climate control, and real experience. We've got all three.

Stress-free furniture refinishing.

  • Clear, accurate estimates
  • Careful pickup, transport, and return (we handle the piece like it's irreplaceable, because it might be)
  • A dedicated spray shop for finishes you can't get any other way
  • Clean, respectful work practices
  • Almost 40 years of getting doors right

What the spray shop changes.

In short? It changes just about everything.

In a real booth, we control the dust, the temperature, the humidity, the lighting, and the spray pattern. We can lay down even coats from every angle without brush marks, sags, or runs. The result is a surface that looks factory-finished, not hand-painted.

Trying to get this finish in a garage, basement, or on a tarp in the driveway is a losing battle. The dust gets in. The temperature swings. The light's wrong for catching imperfections before they dry. A spray booth solves all of that, which is exactly why we built one.

What we can refinish.

Our Process

Here's how it works.

01
No-Obligation Estimate
Send us a few photos of the piece, or we'll stop by to take a look in person. We'll talk through your goals, the look you want, and what's realistic for the piece you've got.
02
Review Your Proposal
You'll get a detailed, accurate proposal with the scope, the color or finish, the timeline, and the price all clearly spelled out. No surprises.
03
We Pick It Up
We carefully wrap and transport your piece back to our spray shop, where it gets the proper prep, primer, and finish under controlled conditions.
04
We Bring It Back
Once the finish is fully cured, we return your piece and place it where you want it. The whole process is hands-off for you, except for the part where you fall in love with it again.

FAQs

Furniture Painting FAQ

  • Can you match a specific color?

Yes. Bring us a paint chip, a photo, or even a piece of fabric you want to coordinate with, and we'll get the color right. We work with quality paint lines that offer thousands of options, plus custom matching when needed.

  • What kinds of finishes are available?

Most of our furniture work is sprayed paint or solid stain in matte, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss. We can also do certain layered or distressed effects depending on the piece and the look you're after. We'll walk you through what's possible for your specific furniture during the estimate.

  • Is this durable enough for furniture I actually use?

Yes! We use cabinet-grade and furniture-grade products designed for daily wear, not interior wall paint. A properly sprayed and cured finish from our shop is going to hold up to actual life: meals, drinks, kids, dogs, the works.

  • Can you refinish something that's already been painted or stained?

Usually, yes. We strip, sand, or prep over the existing finish depending on what it is and what condition it's in. The old finish almost always has to go, or be properly sealed, before we apply the new one. We'll assess the piece and tell you honestly what it'll take.

  • How long does the process take?

From pickup to return, most pieces are about one to two weeks, depending on the size, the complexity, and how many pieces are in the project. Curing time is what it is, and rushing it is how you end up with a finish that scratches or marks. We'd rather take the right amount of time and give you something that lasts.
