Jondec Painting was started in 1987 by John Van Groningen as a way for a music school teacher to stay occupied in the summer months. As business began to grow, John had to make a difficult decision: continue teaching or build a business. He chose the latter and over the decades Jondec has become one of the premier painting companies in Chicago's South Suburbs.
